Waters Edge is located on Highway 24 in Newport, North Carolina, just minutes from Morehead City and a short drive to local beaches and towns like Beaufort, Cape Carteret, Swansboro, Emerald Isle, and Atlantic Beach. Our convenient location, the natural beauty of our park, and the quiet, peaceful atmosphere here set us apart from other campgrounds in the area.  Take in the beautiful sunrises and sunsets by stepping onto our pier that overlooks the Bogue Sound/Intracoastal Waterway. Enjoy relaxing, fishing, kayaking and observing the abundant wildlife from right here in the park.  We have 89 generously-sized, full hook-up sites with 20/30/50 AMP electric hookups on each.  We also take pride in our exceptionally clean, ADA-equipped, temperature controlled bath house.
