We are 4 km west of Hastings Ontario, between Belleville and Peterborough.

Saturday Night Dances on each of the long weekends in May, July, August and September. Admission is free for residents and overnight guests. Cash bar provided.

Shopping is only 4 km away in nearby Hastings.

Part of the world's longest network of recreational trails runs right through Dreamland Resort. The 33 km Lang-Hastings trail (part of the Trans-Canada Recreational Trail) has been widened and upgraded with limestone screenings from Hastings to Peterborough. On June 6, 2012, Hastings was named the Canadian winner of the "World Fishing Network's Ultimate Fishing Town" contest. Follow these links for newspaper coverage in the local Community Press and Northumberland News.

The World Fishing Network representatives arrived in Hastings on June 19th to present the $25,000 prize to the Hastings Environmental Group. Check the coverage in the Community Press.

GPS Co-ordinates: N44°17.681' W077°59.673'

GPS Note: If you will be using GPS to navigate to Dreamland Resort, it is recommended that you route via Hastings. Otherwise, the GPS may guide you to seasonal back roads not suitable for motor-homes or trailers.

Hwy 401 From Toronto via Cobourg:

East on 401 to Cobourg (exit 474) then north on Hwy 45 to Hastings. Cross the bridge to the lights, then left on Front Street 4 km to Dreamland. (Front Street will turn into River Road at the edge of town.) The entrance will be on the left, beyond the large solar panels.

Hwy 401 > 35/115 > 7 From Toronto via Peterborough

East on 401 to Hwy 35/115 (exit 436) then north on Hwy 115 to Peterborough. (Stay on Hwy 115 at the 35/115 interchange.) At the end of Hwy 115 (Peterborough) proceed eastbound on Hwy 7 to the lights at County Road 38. (The Indian River Reptile Zoo is on the northwest corner.) Turn right on County Road 38 and go south to the stop sign at County Road 2. Turn left (east) on County Road 2 to the 6th Line. (Watch for the Dreamland Resort direction sign on County Road 2 prior to the 6th Line.) Turn right (south) on the 6th Line. At the next stop sign you will see the Dreamland Resort sign on the south-west corner of the intersection of the 6th Line and River Road. Turn right (west) on River Road - the entrance will be on the left, beyond the large solar panels.

Hwy 401 From Kingston

West on 401 to Brighton (exit 509) then north on Hwy 30 to Campbellford. Stay on Hwy 30 through Campbellford (left at the Campbellford lights - do not cross the bridge). After passing through Campbellford, turn left on route 35 and go west to the 'T' junction with route 25. Turn right (north) on route 25 to Hastings. At Hastings bear right on to Hwy 45. Pass through town and across the bridge to the lights, then left on Front Street 4 km to Dreamland. (Front Street will turn into River Road at the edge of town.) The entrance will be on the left, beyond the large solar panels.

Hwy 7 From Ottawa

Proceed westbound from Ottawa on Hwy 7 to Norwood. At the lights in Norwood, turn south on Hwy 45 to Hastings. In Hastings, Hwy 45 will turn left at the Hastings Civic Centre. Continue to the lights at the bottom of the hill before the bridge. At the lights, turn right on Front Street 4km to Dreamland. (Front Street will turn into River Road at the edge of town.) The entrance will be on the left, beyond the large solar panels.

(Times are strictly enforced to enable grass cutting and cleaning of site.)



All campers must respect Seasonal Lot Holders and abide by park rules. Quiet time is 11 pm to 9 am.


Cancellation Policy: NON-REFUNDABLE ON DEPOSITS (Please allow a considerate amount of time when cancelling your site.)

Late Arrival Fee: $10 late arrival fee for arrivals after 9 pm.

DOCKS available for Transient Campers on a first come booking. (Book early to save a dock.) These rates include self-launch.

Picnic tables are provided (one per site) and a fire ring.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE: Firewood, Hot Showers, and modern Comfort Station. Office, Store (Ice Cream, Candy), Long Weekend Dances at Recreation Hall. Heated swimming pool open from approximately mid-May/early June until the first Tuesday after the Labour Day Weekend.

Two pets are allowed per campsite. Must be on a lease at all times, pet owner is responsible for clean-up. Note that aggressive dog breeds such as pit bulls, rottweilers, bulldogs, etc. are not permitted. Contact resort management in advance if you are unsure if a particular dog breed is permitted within the campground. Dreamland Resort assumes no responsibility or liability for any pets within the campground. You may be asked to leave if you do not abide by the pet rules.
