In our beautifully landscaped 58-acre age qualified resort, we offer manufactured homes, travel trailer, and park model sites for both permanent and seasonal residents. The shops, restaurants, and exotic atmosphere of Old Mexico are close by, and less than an hour's drive away are the famous beaches of incredible South Padre Island. The warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico will entice you to water-based activities of all types, including shrimping, surfing, and deep-sea fishing. Closer to home you'll find many conveniences you'd expect, including shopping areas, post offices, banks, golf courses, and bowling alleys. The amenities at Alamo Palms include two lighted, professional tennis courts, heated swimming pool, twenty shuffleboard courts, exercise and table tennis room (equipped with all new equipment by LifeCycle, Keiser and Trotter). Meet friends, old and new, at regular potluck suppers and Bingo games. Swing your partner in two large ballrooms at a country music dance, or at a jam session with fine local musicians providing the entertainment.
