Welcome to Malahat Mountain Meadows RV park and campground. Located just minutes north of beautiful Victoria, British Columbia near the summit of the Malahat Drive, our resort offers spacious, fully serviced RV lots, private and scenic campsites, clean washrooms with hot showers, and much much more. Our goal is to make campers as comfortable as possible during their stay in the Greater Victoria area. Quiet and natural!
Although we are only minutes to anywhere in Victoria, your stay in our RV park and campground is a visit with nature itself. The RV sites are nestled amongst great giant cedars and seasonal creeks. Our warm and sunny or deeply shaded lots offer travelers an RV stay unique to their personal tastes. A popular restaurant and full service gas station are just a short walk away while all the other amenities you could wish for are within a few minutes drive. Situated north of beautiful Victoria, British Columbia near the summit of Malahat Drive, the resort is an experience with nature nestled amongst the giant cedars and seasonal creeks. We offer spacious, fully serviced RV lots and some private and scenic campsites, perfect for every need. Choose from our shaded to sunny sites, family or group-oriented sites, to full and partial service sites.
For your convenience we have clean washrooms with hot showers. It's important to us that your stay is comfortable and relaxing. A popular restaurant is only a short walk away and a full service gas station nearby. Take a day trip south to Victoria or north to discover the stunning Cowichan Valley! Experience the popular attraction of Vancouver Island, Whale Watching! Book a tour in downtown Victoria and hop on a boat to catch sight of magnificent whales.

Office Hours: 8am to 8pm
Our friendly staff will assist in any way they can, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need something.
Check-in 1pm/Check-out: 11am
If you wish to extend your stay, please contact the office before 11am to check site availability. Your thoughtfulness for leaving your site clean is deeply appreciated.
Late check-outs are charged at $5.00/hour.
Quiet Time: 10:30pm to 7am
Speed Limit
Please, wheels barely turning. Children, adults and pets are at play—please drive carefully.
Laundry: 8am to 8pm
Coin-operated and wheelchair friendly facilities located next to office. We appreciate your thoughtfulness for removing clothes from washers and dryers promptly, cleaning the lint trap and leaving the laundry room spic and span for the next guest.
Restrooms/Showers/Change Facilities
-Located in the grassy meadow area and wheelchair friendly.
-Please leave tidy for the next guest.
-Children should be accompanied by their parents.
-Any problems, please notify us and we'll do our best to correct them immediately.
Pets, alway welcome
-Please be a good “Pooper Scooper”.
-Leashes are requested within the resort areas. Unattended pets are unhappy pets; please do not leave alone or outside RV when not at home. For the safety of all our guests, pets displaying aggressive behaviour will have to be removed from the resort.
Firewood
Available for a minimum charge at the office.
Camp Fires
Allowed in designated fire pit areas only or at your site if you have an approved outdoor fireplace. BBQ's are permitted on your site. Dispose of ashes only after they have completely cooled and always extinguish any unattended fire.
Picnic Tables
Each site is provided a picnic table; please do not move tables from other sites.
Visitors
-Please register your guests in advance and have them check-in upon arrival.
-Day visitors utilizing resort facilities: $5.00/person.
-Overnight visitors: $10.00/person
-Visitors may park in your site or for alternate parking contact the office.
-Please, no parking on roadways or unoccupied sites.
Recycling
We encourage all our guests to make use of the recycle bins located next to garbage bins.
Garbage
Please bag, tie up and place garbage in the bins provided. Unwanted night-time visitors can be deterred by not storing garbage outside your RV.
Wastewater, Sewage & Sani-Station
-Airtight connections is all we ask!
-Sani-Station available – please contact office.
Smoking
Allowed in the great outdoors but not in resort buildings. To avoid possible fires, please extinguish all smoking materials in a proper container and not on the ground.
Alcoholic Beverages
Allowed at guest sites and in approved areas.
Motorcycles, Motorbikes or Powered Vehicles
We know they are fun but they are very noisy so please refrain from using on resort property.
Messages
As a courtesy, messages for our guests will be posted on the bulletin board. In urgent situations, messages will be delivered to your site.
Lost & Found
If you have misplaced or located a lost article, please bring it to the office.

Inner Harbour - The highlight of summer life in Victoria has to be the great atmosphere of the Victoria Inner Harbour. World class street performers, craftsmen, artists and musicians make the inner harbour an amazing place to spend an evening.
Great Canadian Casino - The Great Canadian Casino located in View Royal 20 minutes from the Park is a great place to go have some fun by trying your hand at a wide variety of games.
Whale Watching - One of the great attractions for visitors to Vancouver Island is the amazing display of nature found whale watching in the Pacific Ocean. Tours depart from downtown Victoria and are a quick boat ride out to the whales.
Craigdarroch Castle - A great historical landmark in the heart of (45 minutes from park) Victoria is Craigdarroch Castle. Viewing some of Victoria's finest architecture will bring you back to the days when Victoria was a young city and Victoria was developing its unique culture.
Butterfly Gardens - Victoria Butterfly Gardens is a great place to take the family and see some of natures most fascinating creatures in one of Canada’s largest conservatories. It is also just minutes away from Butchart Gardens making it a perfect addition on the way.
Butchart Gardens - The Butchart Gardens is celebrating its 100th year of operation. Located in the northern area of the Saanich peninsula, 30 minutes from the park, it is known around the world as having the most spectacular flowers and landscapes year round.
Royal British Columbia Museum - Located in downtown Victoria 45 minutes from the park, the RBCM is a great place to discover amazing history and artifacts. The Museum always has a changing theme, making return visits new and exciting. The Museum also houses an IMAX theatre.
Royal London Wax Museum - The first exhibition in North America of wax figures from the famous Josephine Tussaud Gallery of London, England. It is just one block away from the Royal BC Museum in the Inner Harbour of Victoria.
West Coast Salmon Fishing Charters - Some of the best salt water fishing takes place right off the coast of Victoria. There are many full service charter boats that will take you fishing for a wide variety of fish including our famous west coast salmon.

You must be southbound on Highway #1 to safely enter Malahat Mountain Meadows. When coming from Victoria campers should drive past the park approximately 1 kilometer then turn left at the South Shawnigan Lake exit, proceed back onto the highway and head south back to the park entrance.

Vancouver and BC Ferries Swartz Bay Terminal
After leaving the ferry terminal continue southbound on the #17 Highway to McKenzie Avenue. Exit the highway and head west along McKenzie until you reach the #1 Trans Canada Highway. Proceed northbound past Thetis Lake, continuing through Goldstream Park and on to the Malahat Drive portion of the highway. As you make your way along the Malahat watch for the Malahat Gas station and Malahat Mountain Inn Restaurant. Malahat Mountain Meadows is just past these on the left hand side but can only be accessed southbound by continuing north and making a U-turn at the South Shawnigan Lake turnoff.
Downtown Victoria and Seattle Ferry Terminal
The quickest way out of the downtown core is to find your way to Douglas Street and head north. Douglas runs north/south and is approximately 3 blocks from the waterfront. It is also labeled on many signs as the #1 Trans Canada Highway. Proceed northbound past Thetis Lake, continuing through Goldstream Park and on to the Malahat Drive portion of the highway. As you make your way along the Malahat watch for the Petro Canada station and Malahat Mountain Inn Restaurant. Malahat Mountain Meadows is just past these on the left hand side but can only be accessed southbound by continuing north and making a U-turn at the South Shawnigan Lake turnoff.
North Island and BC Ferries Nanaimo Terminal
From any location on the North or Central Island take the # 1 Trans Canada Highway southbound through Ladysmith, Chemainus, Duncan and Mill Bay and onto the Malahat Drive portion of the highway. Ascend to the summit of the drive and continue past the South Shawnigan Lake turn off approximately 1 km and enter Malahat Mountain Meadows on the right hand side of the road.

One recreational vehicle or tent per site; additional RVs or tents pay additional full rate
Guests using RV Park facilities: $5 per person; Overnight guests: $5 per person
All Rates in Canadian Dollars
All Rates are quoted on a daily basis and are not considered tenancies
We reserve the right to refuse site service at our discretion

A credit card number is required when making reservations and when checking in.
Sorry, we cannot accept personal cheques.
Cancellations
A minimum one night rate will be charged unless cancellation notice received with 48 hours of expected arrival. No exceptions.
Refunds
Sorry, we do not provide refunds on rentals. Credit for future visits may be provided at the RV Resort's discretion.
